<p><strong>RQ09573 - Sr. Project Manager/Leader</strong></p> <p><strong>Contract 5+ months</strong></p> <p><strong>Toronto - Onsite</strong></p> <p><strong>Security Level: CRJMC</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Project Manager & Security Architect, you will lead large-scale, high-risk security programs that protect Ontarios Critical Valued Assets (CVAs). Youll combine advanced information-security architecture expertise, especially in enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and enterprise database monitoring (IBM Guardium an asset), with senior program lead experience and project-management skills. Youll manage end-to-end delivery, embed security by design principles to ensure protection of critical valued assets and enhanced security monitoring. You will collaborate closely with internal OPS teams and vendors to ensure the successful acceptance, timely execution, and day-2 supportability and operability of all project changes and deliverables. </p> <p><strong>General Skills</strong> </p> <ul><li>Senior leadership in enterprise security program delivery and technical design </li><li>Deep understanding of information-security domains: DLP, data classification, encryption, database activity monitoring, IAM, network security </li><li>Proficiency with structured project-management methodologies (e.g. PMBOK) and OPS I&IT frameworks </li><li>Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and executive-level reporting </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills </li><li>Track record of facilitating change management in enterprise organizations </li><li>Agile and Waterfall delivery experience, with hands-on backlog grooming, Sprint planning, and change control </li><li>Team leadership and mentoring, guiding both security architects and project teams </li><li>Familiarity with government/regulatory mandates (FIPPA, PHIPA, PCI DSS, AODA) </li></ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p> <ul><li>Act as Senior Program Lead across CVA security initiatives, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality </li><li>Gathers and develops requirements and works with project stakeholders and ITS project managers to create and maintain a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plan. </li><li>Define and validate information security architecture for DLP solutions, data classification, encryption schemes, and database-monitoring (Guardium) </li><li>Lead consultative workshops to capture business and security requirements, threat models, and security by design patterns </li><li>Develop and manage integrated project schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and change-control processes </li><li>Oversee vendor engagements, third-party integrations, and interoperability with SIEM (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and SOAR platforms </li><li>Chair Steering Committee and architecture-review boards; provide regular status updates to executives and sponsors </li><li>Proactively identify and mitigate project and security risks, escalating when necessary and recommending compensating controls </li><li>Ensure day-2 supportability: coordinate knowledge transfer, runbooks, operational handover, and monitoring/dashboard enablement </li><li>Champion OPS I&IT security and project-management best practices, driving continuous improvement </li></ul> <p><strong>Must-haves:</strong></p> <ul><li>The hiring Team is looking for a Lead Project Manager with the following must-haves:</li><li>Manage enterpriseāscale IT modernization and cybersecurity programs protecting<strong> Critical Value Assets (CVAs) (must be on resume)</strong></li><li><strong>Data Projection</strong> and<strong> Information Security</strong></li><li>Project, Senior Leadership in <strong>cybersecurity</strong> domain</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
