Job DescriptionAllied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard in Hamilton, Ontario.
Job Title: Security Guard - Part Time
Job Location: Hamilton , ON
Pay Rate: $19.24 per hour
Shifts: Saturday - 08:45am - 04:00 pm
Requirement:
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid Ontario security guard license
- Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 20 hours per week.
- First Aid and CPR - Level C
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :
- Access control for the facility/area
- Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
- Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
- Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
- Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
- Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
- Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
