<b> Senior Financial Analyst - 6 Month Contract </b> <br><br> The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, with a strong focus on data visualization and automation through Power BI and other dashboarding tools. This role combines financial modeling, reporting, and business intelligence to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.<br><br><b>About the Opportunity</b> <br> Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): <ul><li> Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes. <li> Develop and maintain detailed financial models to analyze business performance and key metrics. <li> Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management. <li> Partner with business leaders to understand drivers of performance and recommend improvements. </ul> Dashboarding & Reporting (Power BI Focus): <ul><li> Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), revenue trends, expenses, and profitability metrics. <li> Automate recurring reports and streamline manual data collection processes. <li> Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across multiple sources (ERP, CRM, HR systems, etc.). <li> Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data architecture and reporting infrastructure. </ul> Business Insights & Decision Support: <ul><li> Translate complex data into clear financial insights for executive and departmental leadership. <li> Present financial results and dashboard findings in management meetings. <li> Support strategic initiatives with ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling. </ul> <b> About You </b> <br> Qualifications: <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA a strong asset). <li> 3-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance. <li> Proven expertise in Power BI, with strong skills in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. <li> Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, scenario modeling). <li> Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc.) and data warehouses. <li> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. <li> Excellent communication and presentation skills - ability to convey complex data to non-financial stakeholders. </ul> Preferred Skills: <ul><li> Familiarity with SQL or other data query tools. <li> Experience with forecasting tools (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, etc.). <li> Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx). <li> Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </ul> Key Attributes: <ul><li> Analytical mindset with a passion for transforming data into strategic insights. <li> Proactive, curious, and detail-oriented. <li> Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments. </ul> <b> Pay Rate </b><br> $40 / Hour<br><br><b>How to Apply</b><br>Click the "Apply Now" button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
