Adecco is currently seeking a Senior Material Coordinator for a full-time, temp-to-permanent opportunity based in Etobicoke, offering a competitive hourly rate of $25/hour.
In this role, you will support the department manager while taking a hands-on leadership approach to warehouse, fulfillment, and shipping operations. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading by example in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

  • Job type: Full-time Temporary
  • Shift: Monday to Friday
    • 7:00am - 3:30pm or
    • 3:30pm - 12:00am

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the department manager in technically leading the warehouse, fulfillment, and shipping team
  • Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist with training team members on warehouse and fulfillment SOPs
  • Execute all warehouse, fulfillment, and shipping tasks as required
  • Lead warehouse accuracy initiatives, including cycle counts, Kan Ban replenishment, and stock transfer transactions
  • Perform repetitive and detail-focused assembly tasks while following defined procedures
  • Accurately input data related to incoming materials and inventory movement
  • Ensure all outgoing freight is shipped accurately and on time
  • Support miscellaneous warehouse duties including reagent sequestering, sales demo shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness
  • Ensure quality of work and promote a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of relevant warehouse or fulfillment experience
  • Prior experience operating material handling equipment (required)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to support and assist other team members
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to work across multiple processes or products
  • Effective communication skills across teams and sites
