You will provide support and counsel to the client on initiatives including; employee engagement, employee relations, benefits, compensation, learning and development, and recruiting. They are accepting applicants in the United States and Canada.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Increasing worldwide engagement and nurturing a people first culture</li><li>Audit and adapt policies and processes to promote an inclusive and equitable employee experience (DEI lens a must!)</li><li>Own decision making processes for your areas of expertise; lead with your knowledge and people skills</li><li>Establish and maintain People data and analytics to drive decision making</li><li>Support Talent Acquisition Specialist in developing incredible onboarding process for new hires</li><li>Manage and administer benefits plans and programs. Liaison with insurance partners, vendors, and brokers (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)</li><li>Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding benefits, compensation, and leave administration to effectively administer our US people policies</li><li>Process employment-related changes and maintain data integrity in all systems, ensuring compliance and conducting regular audits</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Definition of Success</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years progressive experience in People Operations with interest or experience working at a fast growth startup</li><li>Interest in developing and nurturing inclusive virtual culture across time zones </li><li>Solid understanding of labor legislation, and willingness to learn as we grow (currently they hire in 10 states in the USA)</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Your superpowers</strong></p><ul><li><em><strong>Relationship Builder:</strong></em> You love to make connections with people to drive your success, you always try to assume good intent.</li><li><em><strong>Flexible & Adaptable: </strong></em>You know how to go with the flow and never get too caught up with how things have been done in the past; you’re more worried about the best way to do them now and into the future.</li><li><em><strong>Openness to criticism: </strong></em>You know how to give critical feedback as well as receive it, you view feedback as growth and want to create a feedback forward culture.</li><li><strong><em>Communication</em>: </strong>You know how to communicate across cultures and levels; getting buy in and communicating clearly is your superpower!</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you’ll love about our client</strong></p><p>You’ll join a team where everyone is an integral part of making the world a better place.
