<p><b>Job Title – </b>Front-End Designer (Digital Transformation Projects)</p><p><b>Location – </b>Remote (Canada) | Occasional Onsite Meetings in Edmonton, AB</p><p><b>Openings – </b>3 Positions</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b> Work Conditions</b></p><ul><li><b>Hours: </b>7.25 hrs/day (36.25 hrs/week) | Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (Alberta Time)</li><li><b>Location:</b> Remote within Canada</li><li><b>Onsite: </b>Occasional meetings or workshops in Edmonton, AB (approx. quarterly; travel expenses not reimbursed)</li><li><b>Duration: </b>12 months with potential extension up to 24 months</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>We are seeking experienced Front-End Designers to support major digital transformation and service modernization projects. You’ll be part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team shaping user-centric services that make digital experiences simpler, faster, and more accessible.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Front-End Designer, you’ll play a key role in designing intuitive interfaces, developing UX artifacts, and maintaining design systems that bring innovation and clarity to enterprise-scale service delivery.</p><p><br></p><p><b> Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Design and enhance digital services for web and multi-channel delivery</li><li>Develop UX artifacts — including user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes</li><li>Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and developers within an Agile product team</li><li>Build and maintain component libraries and shared design systems for scalable delivery</li><li>Explore multiple design solutions, visually communicating concepts through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes</li><li>Deliver production-ready designs across digital devices (web, mobile, and enterprise applications)</li><li>Apply and validate accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles throughout the design process</li><li>Incorporate design thinking methodologies to improve overall service experience</li><li>Use industry-standard design tools such as Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma</li><li>Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, demos, retrospectives) and usability evaluations</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Mandatory Skills & Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience as a Front-End Designer, enhancing web and digital services</li><li>5+ years developing UX artifacts — scenarios, storyboards, wireframes, flows, and prototypes</li><li>5+ years collaborating within Agile, cross-functional product teams (designers, developers, researchers)</li><li>Strong command of design applications such as Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch, and/or Figma</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and iterative UX improvement</li><li>Proven ability to balance creative exploration with delivery timelines in Agile environments</li><li>5+ years’ experience building and maintaining component libraries and reusable design systems</li><li>5+ years exploring multiple design solutions, visually communicating through sketches, flows, wireframes, prototypes, or high-fidelity visuals</li><li>5+ years creating production-ready designs for web, mobile, or enterprise-scale applications</li><li>5+ years applying accessibility standards and WCAG principles</li><li>5+ years using design thinking to enhance service experiences and usability</li><li>Experience working on large-scale digital transformation projects of comparable size and complexity</li><li>Experience in or exposure to a public-sector digital office environment (e.g., Ontario Digital Service, BC Digital Experience, or Digital Innovation Office)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why Join Us</b></p><ul><li>Work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment</li><li>Professional growth opportunities and training support</li><li>Inclusive, equitable, and respectful workplace culture</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>About NetworkPedia</b></p><p>NetworkPedia is a certified women-owned technology and talent solutions company, providing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, and specialized recruitment across North Americas and beyond.
