Job Description
Our SE client in Calgary is looking for a Shipper/Receiver, to join their busy team. If you are interested in working in a fast-paced environment, like to be around great people and have a good eye for details, read on - this may be the opportunity you have been looking forResponsibilities:
- Review, complete and submit daily paperwork for deliveries, pickups, receiving and production.
- Prepare case, rack and pack tags for incoming shipments.
- Keep track of incoming loads.
- Track warehouse stock and order as needed; order production materials as requested.
- Pick up completed orders, match with delivery slips and pull in proper files.
- Find customer pick up orders and assist in loading when required.
- Receive and sort incoming stock, and inspect for any issues.
- Other responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
- Two years' experience working in shipping and receiving, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of the electrical industry is considered a strong asset.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
- Intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.
- A self-starter with strong communication and customer service skills.
