We are currently hiring for an experienced shunter for our client in Brampton, ON.
Location: Brampton, ON
Shift- Morning/Afternoon/Overnight
Job Responsibilities:
- Move and position trailers, containers, and trucks within the yard as directed.
- Perform regular yard checks to monitor trailer locations.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and yard staff to ensure efficient flow of equipment.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks/trailers.
- Complete basic paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents or delays.
Job Requirements:
- Valid drivers license
- Prior experience of 2 years as a shunter is a requirement.
- Good backing skills are an asset.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and yard operations.
Pay rate- $23 per/hour
