<p>Join our team as we continue to expand our product portfolio in the Data Center and Carrier Service Provider sectors. The IP Routing Hardware organization features a flat structure with few management layers between individual contributors and the VP of Hardware. We operate with a lean approach, enabling engineers to focus more on engineering work and less on overhead. Consequently, your work will have high visibility, and your decisions will directly influence product design.</p><p><strong>DCN2025</strong></p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering</li><li>10+ years of experience simulating high-speed SerDes in PCB applications</li><li>Expertise in using Ansys HFSS or Dassault CST simulation tools</li><li>Hands-on measurement skills with TDR/VNA equipment and oscilloscopes</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li></ul><p>Preferred additional skills include:</p><ul><li>Familiarity with Mentor Hyperlynx, HSpice, and Cadence Allegro</li><li>Knowledge of PAM4 transmitter and receiver analog and digital technologies: FIR, CTLE, DFE, & FEC</li><li>Experience with EMC/EMI and telecommunications standards such as ITU, IEEE, and Bellcore</li><li>Programming/Scripting skills in C, Python, or Matlab</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>As a Signal Integrity Engineer, you will:</p><ul><li>Simulate ultra high-speed PCB channels (112G+ SerDes rates), including connectors, breakouts, and via structures</li><li>Provide signal integrity guidance to Digital Hardware Designers based on simulated and empirical data</li><li>Assist in designing PCB test boards to validate simulations</li></ul><h3>About the company</h3><p>Nokia's transition to a telecommunications-focused company began in the 1990s.
