The Role


You will plan, build, and execute the verification of new SoCs on emulation platforms, enabling firmware and software bring‑up pre‑silicon. Your work will help ensure a bug‑free final design and accelerate ASIC bring‑up.


THE PERSON


You’re passionate about modern, complex processor architectures, digital design, and verification. A strong team player, you communicate effectively and collaborate smoothly with engineers across multiple sites and time zones. You bring excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude toward tackling challenges.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Collaborate with architects, hardware, and firmware engineers to understand features and verification needs

  • Define emulation configurations and create sanity tests

  • Bring up configurations on different emulators (e.g., Veloce, Zebu, Palladium)

  • Work closely with RTL and firmware teams to identify and resolve defects

  • Provide support to downstream emulation users


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE



  • Strong proficiency in SoC‑level ASIC verification

  • Skilled in debugging firmware and RTL using simulation tools

  • Experienced with Verilog, SystemVerilog, C, and C++

  • Solid background in C/C++ programming on Linux, with some exposure to Windows

  • Hands‑on experience with SystemVerilog and Verilog

  • Working knowledge of SystemC and TLM

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, Ruby, Makefile, and shell scripting

  • Leadership or mentorship experience is a plus


ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
