Job Title: Solutions Designer - Senior
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: Contract
Seeking a Senior Technical Lead / Solution Designer to provide technical leadership, environment readiness, deployment support, and maintenance for large-scale enterprise applications built on Siebel CRM, Oracle, BPM, and Unix-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical coordination with vendors, project teams, and internal IT groups.
- Manage environment readiness, including HW/SW setup, connectivity, VPN/VDI access, and desktop package certification.
- Oversee deployments, cloud pipeline activities, code drops, release planning, and change request processes.
- Support QA/UAT environments, troubleshoot defects, and coordinate fixes.
- Maintain hardware/software inventory and optimize hosting costs.
- Provide expertise across release, change, configuration, capacity, incident, and service level management.
- Support integration with non-core/legacy systems, web services, workflows, and mainframe connections.
- Identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Siebel Architecture, Admin, Remote Client, Open UI, Web Services, workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Siebel configuration/customization, SQL, XML, JavaScript, HTML/DHTML.
- Expertise with Oracle DB, BPM, Unix (Solaris/AIX), WebLogic, IIS.
- Experience with Harvest/Ant, UML tools, Eclipse, JUnit, Log4J.
- Senior experience in Release & Deployment, Change, Incident/Problem, Configuration, Capacity & Service Level Management.
- Ability to perform system evaluation, performance analysis, and infrastructure planning.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with compliance standards (TRA, PCI), architecture checkpoints, and security standards.
- Familiarity with Agile, UML, and large-scale enterprise system implementations.
