Our talent specialists provide recruitment services and customized solutions to find quality candidates.<br><br>Our member is looking to hire a <strong>Stair Assembler </strong>for their company in <strong>Newmarket, ON.<br><br></strong>We are seeking an individual with experience in stair <span >assembly/manufacturing</span> (or similar fields such as cabinet assembly) to fill a full-time in shop position at our stair and railing company in Newmarket, family-owned and operated for 37 years. We manufacture and install custom stair and railing systems for some of the most prestigious builders and designers across the GTA and surrounding areas.<br><br><strong>Specific Duties & Schedule:</strong><br /><ul><li>Manufacturing of various wood stair components including treads, risers, stringers, etc.</li><li>Assembly of components into complete stair systems.</li><li>Maintaining a safe/clean work area.</li><li>Weekly day shift with overtime available.</li><li>8 to 10 hour work days.</li><li>Flexible start times between 5:00 am to 7:00 am.</li></ul><strong>Benefits Include:</strong><br /><ul><li>Group Benefits package (starting at the conclusion of the 3-month trial period).</li><li>Company events.</li><li>Paid certification training (working at heights, counterbalancing forklift).</li><li>Casual dress.</li><li>Tight-knit team atmosphere.</li><li>Performance bonuses.</li></ul><strong>Requirements:</strong><br /><ul><li>Highschool Education +</li><li>Stair manufacturing (or similar) experience is a must</li><li>Ability to read work orders and cut lists</li><li>Personal small hand tools (i.e., chisel, hammer, tape measure)</li><li>Drivers licence </li></ul><strong>Please note, only qualified candidates will be contacted. </strong><br />R&AJJ OOS</p></p>
