POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Analyst is a member of the Strategic Sourcing Business Management team that works closely with Business Manager – Strategic Sourcing in preparing reporting and analysis, and completing tasks to support various Strategic Sourcing activities such as material cost, contract margins, compliance, ESG, and process improvement. From time to time, the position will assist with cross functional projects and activities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Prepare reporting and analysis to support Sourcing leadership in carrying out duties across the NFI Group.
- Coordinate and generate data and analysis on material cost, contract margins, compliance activities and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with Supply Chain ESG activities within the Supply Management Team.
- Assist in coordination of the Supplier Risk Management process and reporting across the NFI Group.
- Facilitate, and coordinate selected sourcing process improvements, activities and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor\'s degree in Business (or equivalent), education in Supply Chain Management preferred
- Experience with general supply chain processes and procedures
- Knowledge of financial statements and accounting practices at a level required to complete cost analysis and other reports of sourcing performance
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, experience with Oracle, SQL, and Power BI considered an asset
- Effective written and oral communications, with ability to generate presentations for management
- Strong data gathering and analysis skills
