IGI supports client development by integrating survey and environmental services with GIS mapping and design. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in geomatics technology or someone who enjoys working outdoors. </p><p></p><p> We offer: </p><ul><li> Wage $20-$28 per hour </li><li> Comprehensive benefits </li><li> Professional development opportunities </li><li> Supportive team environment with a strong safety culture </li></ul><p></p><p> If you meet the qualifications below and are ready to advance your career, we encourage you to apply. </p><p></p><p><u> Key Responsibilities: </u></p><ul><li> Arrive on time and prepared for assigned tasks and shifts as directed by the Field Crew Coordinator. </li><li> Foster a positive and professional team environment and represent IGI respectfully in all interactions with clients, contractors, and the public. </li><li> Assist with organizing and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials at project sites, in the office, and in crew vehicles. </li><li> Support the Crew Chief in meeting project timelines and deliverables. </li><li> Participate in safety training and demonstrate competent use of survey-related equipment and vehicles. </li><li> Comply with client safety protocols, Alberta OH&S regulations, and IGI’s Integrated Safety Program. </li><li> Contribute to safety planning activities including emergency response planning, hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and daily tailgate meetings. </li></ul><p></p><p><u> Qualifications & Attributes: </u></p><ul><li> Diploma or degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is considered an asset. </li><li> Previous experience in surveying or outdoor fieldwork is preferred. </li><li> Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction effectively. </li><li> Familiarity with survey methodologies is an asset. </li><li> Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required. </li><li> Excellent time management and organizational skills. </li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with AutoCAD is an asset. </li><li> Willingness to travel and work flexible hours based on project needs. </li><li> Adaptable and solution-oriented mindset. </li><li> This is a safety-sensitive position requiring valid safety certifications (H2S, First Aid, CPR). </li><li> Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract. </li></ul>Create Your Resume First
