We are focused on research and energy development, contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint.</p><p>What You'll Do</p><p>The Buyer - will be responsible for executing day-to-day purchasing activities related to direct materials critical to XNRGY's HVAC manufacturing operations. This role involves issuing POs, managing supplier deliveries, and maintaining accurate procurement data in the ERP system. The Tactical Buyer collaborates closely with planning, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted production flow.</p><p>THE DAY-TO-DAY</p><ul><li>Generate and manage purchase orders based on MRP, project schedules, and inventory planning signals</li><li>Ensure timely procurement of direct materials such as sheet metal, coils, fans, motors, and fasteners to support production requirements</li><li>Proactively track order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment status; expedite orders as needed to prevent production delays</li><li>Maintain up-to-date and accurate<br> <em>ERP</em><br> records including lead times, pricing, part numbers, supplier information in<br> <em>Epicor</em><br> <em>ERP</em></li><li>Resolve supply issues such as late deliveries, quantity discrepancies, and material non-conformities in coordination with suppliers and internal teams</li><li>Communicate daily with suppliers to ensure alignment on open orders, delivery timelines, and priorities</li><li>Collaborate with planning, production, logistics, and engineering teams to align material availability with production schedules</li><li>Support the onboarding of new parts and suppliers by providing lead time and cost inputs during engineering or NPI phases</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement process optimization, inventory accuracy, and cost control</li><li>Monitor and manage open PO reports, supplier scorecards, and backlogs to ensure delivery performance and accountability</li></ul><p>MUST HAVES</p><ul><li>Education: College diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field</li><li>Experience: 3–5 years of tactical or operational buying experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Proficiency in<br> <em>Epicor</em><br> <em>ERP</em><br> (or similar<br> <em>ERP</em><br> system) is a strong asset</li><li>Solid organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and urgent requests</li><li>Effective communicator with strong supplier coordination abilities</li><li>Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive in problem-solving</li><li>High ethical standards and integrity</li></ul><p>Why choose XNRGY</p><ul><li>Competitive salary with STIP (short term bonus incentive plan)</li><li>Medical and dental insurance</li><li>RRSP</li><li>A dynamic team, open to change to bring its color</li><li>Being part of a green industry transformation</li><li>Fast-growing dynamic environment where entrepreneurial spirit is recognized</li><li>Inclusive and diversity-friendly environment</li><li>Career advancement: XNRGY promotes internal promotion</li></ul><p>At XNRGY Climate Systems<br>, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
