As an Invisalign Territory Manager, your mission is to apply comprehensive knowledge of Invisalign and iTero sales strategies across key accounts to accelerate revenue growth and increase case volume. You will sell directly to professional business owners (Dentists and Orthodontists), transforming an analog process through clear aligners and innovative digital solutions that make straightening teeth easier, faster, and more accessible—helping practitioners grow their businesses and improve patient satisfaction.


Role expectations
  • Use insights and a consultative selling approach to educate customers about their industry and their patients; challenge them to modernize and grow their practices; and assist in implementing digital technologies and refining office processes
  • Achieve quarterly and annual territory sales targets.
  • Manage a defined geographic territory to grow the business and onboard new high-potential accounts.
  • Plan and execute a territory strategy based on the potential of each account within the assigned geography.
  • Create and execute account plans for high-potential customers, grounded in a deep understanding of their business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Leverage data and analytics to support customer decision-making.
  • Educate customers on products to ensure clinical confidence with Invisalign and iTero products and services.
  • Communicate cross-functionally (e.g., Doctors, Treatment Coordinators, Clinical Assistants, Education, Marketing, Product Development) to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs and clearly articulate the fit with Align’s products, digital platforms, and solution capabilities.
  • Coordinate internal company resources to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align solutions.
  • Demonstrate creativity, self-discipline, and the ability to independently identify and complete critical tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Adapt quickly and engage customers effectively in a virtual selling environment.
  • Actively listen, analyze customer needs, and tailor Align products and services to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience required. Experience may include business-to-business (B2B) sales, medical device sales, capital equipment, dental sales, or a relevant combination of inside/outside sales and industry experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong business and marketing acumen, including comfort discussing cash flow analysis, ROI, and P&L, and asking insightful business questions.
  • Comfort engaging in clinical discussions related to Invisalign and iTero products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and virtual communication platforms.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned geographic territory, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to travel to the United States as required.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and travel to the U.S. on occasion.
  • For roles in Quebec, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.

Pay Transparency

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. 

 

For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. 

 

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
