UI/UX Designer
Contract
Toronto, ON
3 days on site (Hybrid work model)
This is an incredibly exciting time for one of our clients as they build truly innovative AI solutions. We're looking for a contract UI Designer for an initial 9-12 month contract. This person will be an expert with UI and UX design and building wireframes and mockups. Must be comfortable working with senior Business Users and in an on-site work environment
Job Requirements
Experience & Technical Skills
· 3+ years of frontend development experience.
· Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
· Experience applying UI/UX designs into production environments and making live interface updates as needed.
· Familiarity with Fluent UI is a strong asset.
· Experience designing and implementing frontend interfaces within Microsoft Teams or similar embedded application ecosystems.
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with expertise in modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.). This is ideal.
Design & Prototyping
· Proven ability to create UX wireframes, UI mockups, and clickable prototypes using Figma.
· Skilled in designing for both web and mobile form factors.
· Capable of producing user flows, component libraries, layout systems, and scalable design patterns.
Collaboration & Communication
· Experience working closely with backend and LLM engineering teams to align frontend interfaces with APIs and chat-based workflows.
· Strong business-facing communication skills—able to present designs, articulate rationale, and gather stakeholder feedback effectively
