Job Title: Warehouse General Labour
Location: Scarborough, Ontario (near the intersection of McCowan & Steeles)
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $17.20/hr
Job Overview:
Our client, a premium furniture distribution warehouse, is looking for reliable help ASAP. In this role, you will be responsible for unloading/loading containers, minor assembly, and performing general warehouse duties. The position involves lifting items up to 50-60 lbs; heavier items will require teamwork for safe handling. We are seeking individuals who are hardworking, dedicated, and have a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Unload/load containers or trailers with furniture and products.
- Lift products weighing between 40-50 lbs (items can include chairs, couches, tables, lighting, etc.).
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean warehouse environment.
Requirements
- CSA-approved safety shoes
- Able to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who can assist colleagues when needed
