JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of Onelife Design & Build. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll entries, completing reconciliations, and ensuring all financial data is current and compliant. This position requires strong proficiency in QuickBooks, including managing transactions, running reports, inputting invoices, and maintaining accurate project-related financials. Working closely with leadership, you will help maintain financial accuracy, support budgeting processes, and contribute to the overall financial integrity of the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
  • Experience managing A/P, A/R, invoicing, and vendor payments.
  • Ability to complete bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
  • Understanding of payroll entries and CRA compliance requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Workspace, and financial reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail with accurate record keeping and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-solving ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
