<p><strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong></p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> GTA</p><p> <strong>Full-Time Straight Shift </strong></p><p><br></p><p>We're looking for a skilled <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll maintain, repair, and optimize production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. If you have hands-on expertise in troubleshooting complex systems and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and repair <strong>electro-mechanical equipment</strong> including drive systems, sensors, cabling, and automated production equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers to <strong>install, evaluate, and improve electro-mechanical systems.</strong></li><li>Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.</li><li>Read and interpret <strong>technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.</strong></li><li>Perform <strong>panel wiring, electrical/mechanical assembly and disassembly, and system calibration.</strong></li><li>Build mock-ups of production equipment and support new installations.</li><li>Use test equipment to perform electrical, mechanical, and fluid measurements.</li><li>Support <strong>preventive maintenance, projects, and repairs</strong> in collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.</li><li>Apply PLC programming and industrial networking knowledge to support automation systems.</li><li>Document technical findings, data, and reports clearly and accurately.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>MUST HAVE's</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma/GED required; <strong>Electromechanical Apprenticeship in manufacturing</strong> strongly preferred.</li><li><strong>5+ years' experience in a manufacturing facility</strong> (web-based machinery experience a plus).</li><li>Journeyman-level skills in one or more areas: <strong>electrical, mechanical, hydraulics/pneumatics, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or PLC programming.</strong></li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work across mechanical and electrical disciplines.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio); experience with maintenance tracking systems a plus.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why This Role?</strong></p><p>This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise in <strong>electrical and mechanical systems</strong> will directly impact production reliability and efficiency.
