Scope:
- Support the integrity of the business applications, architectures, and ensure that development is to standard, documentation is compliant and performing application design
- Provide leadership on Enterprise Architecture artifact needs and support to the business and other team members
Deliverables:
- Draft solution design and detailed technical solution design for applications built using packaged products on cloud.
- Develop architecture artifacts for enterprise-level architecture checkpoints and gating (e.g., Business Architecture Document, Solutions Architecture Document, Solution Requirements Document, and Information Architecture Document)
- Produce visual depiction of use cases and process flows; ensure alignment with the program area and associated business architecture, as well as traceability to solution logical and physical architectures. Create, review, provide input and support of Enterprise Architecture artifacts for ARB as required.
- Logical/Physical Data Model, Data Dictionary and CRUD Matrix documentation
- Document the standard communication protocol and interfaces for external partners.
- Develop onboarding documents
- Assist with system and user interface design and modifications (data & screen) as required.
- Lead the cloud security assessment effort and mitigation plans for any identified security risks.
- Review privacy and security related reports to ensure privacy and security considerations and concerns are addressed in the architecture artifacts; Establish traceability matrix to monitor output.
- Review all test scenarios to ensure the requirements are met; establish traceability matrix to monitor output.
- Assist in metadata/test data creation and maintenance, and prepare data packages for implementation by the Database Administrator
- Ensure alignment and adherence to Ministry processes and standards.
- Support the testing team during system and UAT testing.
- Participate in knowledge Transfer
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with leading information technology (IT) architecture, enterprise architecture frameworks, strategies and methodologies within a variety of domains such as Business, Technology, Application, and/or Security.
- Experience with planning, design, delivery and implementation of architecture solutions for large scale, complex, multi-year I&IT projects required to meet the critical business requirements of our ministry client(s) impacting external stakeholders.
- Experience leading projects Gating and enterprise level Architecture Review Board activities for different stage of the project and getting the necessary approval.
- Knowledge of Solution design and Business Analysis experience at the specified level in large IT organizations
MUST-HAVES:
- At least 10 years of experience
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
- Experience with enterprise-level Architecture Standards and artifacts (e.g., Business Architecture Document, Solutions Architecture Document, Solution Requirements Document, and Information Architecture Document).
- Experience in using technical solution design and prototyping tools to assist in JAD and design sessions with stakeholders
