What You'll Do:

  • Lead design and development of complex application features for medium to large initiatives
  • Drive technical solution design collaborating with analysts, developers, and business partners
  • Create and maintain clear solution documentation and ensure team alignment
  • Own the full software development lifecycle from requirement review to delivery
  • Identify and mitigate integration and dependency risks early on
  • Develop and configure software on enterprise frameworks while promoting continuous improvement
  • Conduct peer code reviews and mentor team members on coding best practices
  • Support quality assurance through automated testing and test case reviews
  • Foster agile methodologies across the delivery team

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Guidewire application development experience
  • Proficiency with current programming languages, web services, and databases
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jira, and Confluence is a plus
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and Agile development environments preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
  • Passion for teamwork and delivering high-quality solutions
