About the Role

Were representing a growing national franchise group in the construction space that's hiring a Siding Installation Coach to join their Vancouver headquarters team.

This hybrid role blends hands-on training, content creation, and technical leadership. You'll be responsible for training new franchise partners in person at HQ, recording instructional video content, and helping build out the company's internal siding training program and standards.

You'll work directly with the VP of Operations to support a growing network of 90+ franchise locations by teaching proper installation methods, virtually troubleshooting jobsite issues, and developing training resources that scale.

This is a full-time, salaried position based in Vancouver, with two days per week required in-office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person siding installation training to new franchisees at the Vancouver head office

  • Film and present technical walkthroughs and video-based training materials

  • Help build the internal Siding Academy and contribute to course design

  • Write and maintain SOPs, installation manuals, and best-practice documentation

  • Provide technical support and installation guidance to active franchise partners

  • Collaborate with operations leadership to improve onboarding and training systems

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of siding or exterior finishing experience (e.g. Hardie, vinyl, rainscreen systems)

  • Comfortable explaining techniques clearly, both in person and on video

  • Experience training apprentices, leading crews, or developing install standards

  • Tech-savvy enough to work with tools like Buildertrend, JobTread, or LMS platforms

  • Based in Greater Vancouver and able to work from the office 2x per week

  • Strong communicator with a natural coaching style and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 depending on experience

  • Health benefits included

  • Vacation: 2 weeks in year 1, 3 weeks in year 2, 4 weeks in year 3

  • Flexible Fridays: paid 40 hours per week, but Fridays are typically half days

  • No travel required in year one; limited travel may occur in future for top-performing franchise visits
