Concrete Finisher Salary: $36.60/Hourly Hours: 32-40 hours per week Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Language: English Minimum Education: High School Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required Positions Available: 1 NOC Group: Concrete finishers (NOC 73100) NOC Job Title: Concrete finisher Business Address: 7520 Conrad St, Burnaby, BC, V5A 2H7, Canada Job Location(s): 7520 Conrad St, Burnaby, BC, V5A 2H7, Canada Job Description: DIAMOND PRECAST CONCRETE AND CASTING LTD. is hiring one Full-time Concrete finisher to join their team in Burnaby, British Columbia as soon as possible. Job Duties: Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure proper setup before directing concrete placement according to required grade. Smooth freshly poured concrete by filling low spots and removing high points. Use hand tools and equipment to remove excess concrete, fill voids and achieve a smooth, uniform finish. Operate mechanical vibrators to consolidate concrete, eliminate air pockets and enhance overall strength. Apply textures based on client specifications or design plans. Accurately install anchor bolts, inserts, brackets and other embedded components in fresh concrete before it sets. Conduct waterproofing and damp-proofing treatments in accordance with project requirements to protect and preserve concrete surfaces. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to support efficient operations. Operate a variety of tools, including concrete saws and grinders, to cut, modify or finish concrete components. Employment requirements: Completion of secondary school is required.
