Job Title: Inside Sales Representative (x2)

Report To: Sales Manager

Placement Type: Permanent

Address: SE Edmonton

Work Location: 100% on-site

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour for lunch).


Position Overview:

Our client, an industrial fabricator and distributor in SE Edmonton, is seeking two (2) Inside Sales professionals to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established company with an aggressive compensation plan and great stability. 


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-level customer service by responding to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, asking clarifying questions to understand product requirements, materials, and specifications.
  • Manage a wide range of orders, valued from $100 up to $10,000,000+ 
  • Check inventory availability and determine whether products are in stock or need to be sourced.
  • Coordinate delivery timelines based on customer needs and expectations.
  • Generate accurate quotes using preset pricing structures; will be trained on pricing methodologies.
  • Support both distribution and manufacturing/fabrication sales:
  • Distribution sales focused on fulfilling existing customer stock needs under established agreements.
  • Manufacturing and fabrication sales are typically larger projects and require relationship-based, consultative selling.
  • Manage a predominantly repeat-customer base; assist with occasional account updates when customers transition to a new sales representative.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
  • Reengage and revitalize dormant accounts through warm outbound calls to previous customers.
  • Identify creative, first-in-class solutions to meet customer needs while driving margin growth within the existing client base.
  • Grow revenue within existing accounts and contribute to overall sales growth strategies.
  • Source and purchase products as needed to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Gather and share market intelligence to ensure competitiveness and alignment with evolving customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams; maintain frequent internal communications and share knowledge to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales orders, purchase orders, and return orders.
  • Monitor order progress to meet or exceed customer delivery expectations.
  • Verify that all customer specifications are confirmed and met at the time of order. 


Must Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the PVF Industry ie. carbon, stainless, structural, tubing, valves, chrome, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications like Outlook, Word, & Excel’

  • Graduated from a business or equivalent program at a recognized post secondary institution.
