<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Senior Financial Analyst </strong><br><br> Our Calgary client is seeking a <strong>Senior Financial Analyst</strong> to support the Controller and play a key role within the Finance and Operations teams. The role involves preparing monthly P&L reports, conducting financial and operational analysis, assisting with senior accounting duties, and supporting special projects, while maintaining regular interaction with internal teams and stakeholders.<br /><strong> </strong><br /><strong>Your success will be defined by your ability to:</strong><br /><ul><li>Monthly results P&L preparation and reporting</li><li>Financial analysis and maintaining / tracking financial metrics for internal and external reporting</li><li>Preparation of annual budgets and forecasting</li><li>Assist with shareholder, bank and other stakeholder requests</li><li>Assist with general day-to-day accounting including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries</li><li>Various projects and assignments supporting the accounting and finance groups</li></ul><strong>Your strengths include:</strong><br /><ul><li>A post-secondary degree or diploma with a major in <span >accounting/finance.</span></li><li>CPA and or CFA designation</li><li>4+ years of related work experience in a finance / accounting analysis role</li><li>Quick learner, highly motivated and results driven</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and previous experience with accounting software (Great Plains or similar)</li></ul> If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the <strong>“Apply”</strong> button to send your resume directly to<strong> Alvin Tam.</strong><br /><strong>Recruitment Partners Inc</strong>. is an Alberta-based, Alberta-focused recruitment firm.
